Diamond is not in DoJ’s List For Asset Forfeiture, only a perceptual play
The list of jewelries posted by the Malaysiakini portal allegedly bought by Low Taek Jho as a gift to Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is found not on US Department of Justice (DoJ) list of assets to be seized in their civil suit.
The 22-carat pink diamond necklace worth RM116 million when reviewed was not written on all 251 pages of the DoJ statement on June 14, 2017.
There are another 27 other 18 carat jewelries claimed by DoJ to be purchased using funds taken from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) company amounting to RM2.6 billion.
Understand this clearly. If the RM116 million diamond was not mentioned by DoJ, why Malaysiakini as a third party so adamantly wanting to slander and attack Datin Seri Rosmah? DoJ did not even mentioned Datin Seri Rosmah. This means that the opposition in Malaysia through Malaysiakini goes far beyond this issue.
The international media also cited this incorrect story and perception from Malaysiakini. Reuters, CNN, Al Jazeera and Bloomberg have been fooled by Malaysiakini. The agenda to smear Malaysia is in motion.
Could the USD5 billion fund channeled through the Clinton Foundation by Daim Zainuddin as exposed by Raja Petra have bought the journalistic ethics of the foreign media.
The foreign media are too cheap. In order to succeed in the campaign to bring down the Prime Minister chosen through a democratic system, they are willing to be deceived by Malaysiakini's incorrect information.
It should also be understood that the RM2.6 billion money accused of being misled from 1MDB is untrue. On April 14, 2016, Adel Al Jubeir, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister has confirmed a RM2.6 billion contribution from the country.
That means the RM2.6 billion was not from 1MDB. During King Salman's visit to Malaysia, why did Mahathir not ask directly whether the RM2.6 billion was misled by Jho Low to buy the diamond?
Prior to that, on January 26, 2016, Tan Sri Apandi Ali, the Attorney General stated that the contribution of RM2.6 billion was a contribution from the royal family of Saudi Arabia. In August 2013, a sum of RM2.03 billion was returned to Saudi Arabia as the funds were not used.
Therefore, Malaysiakini's logic that the RM2.6 billion was stolen from 1MDB was wrong. The perception that the RM2.6 billion is used to buy diamond is also incorrect. Reuters, CNN, Aljazeera and Bloomberg have been deceived by a false story from Malaysiakini.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan in a statement on June 18 suspected that there was a bad political agenda against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the government.
"Malaysia has the right to know who the complainant is and the US Department of Justice should disclose their identity so that Malaysia can confirm the relevance of the complainant to the opposition party agenda to overthrow the democratically elected Prime Minister and government in Malaysia," said Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
This repeated action by DoJ after the first time on July 20, 2016, was made to create a mere perception. There is no basis, no evidence, no witnesses and it has not been brought to court for a fair and transparent trial.
Why must DoJ link the individual if DoJ did not intend to seize the 28 jewelries on the list.
"You (DoJ) made fun and you potrayed as if Datin Seri Rosmah and the diamond were doing something wrong, but in the document submitted, you did not even include the diamond as a asset to be seized," said Rahman Dahlan.
Yesterday, the former PPBM Srikandi chief, Ainina said the image of the diamond distributed by Malaysiakini was false. Picture and story of RM24 million ring by Rafizi were also fake. The title by Utusan Malaysia "Beli sendiri guna duit menabung dari kecil - Rosmah" is also proven to be false.
Hence, what Syed Saddiq wants the people to do which is to tell stories about this RM116 million diamond when going back home for Raya will be an act of spreading lies and sedition. He is inviting people to spread false stories.
In this holy month of Ramadhan, ‘parti bunga’ calls on the people to commit sin. Ramadhan is already approaching its end, and people are busy seeking more rewards and Lailatulqadar, ‘parti bunga’ are busy adding sin through slandering diamond stories.
The name of the complainant is not disclosed. DoJ did not named Najib but instead uses the Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) title in this matter. If it’s true that all the details and evidence are complete, immediately name the person involved or the identity of MO1. Do not speculate like now.
They created this story, illustrate, create documents, then create a bad perception to defame people, to divide the society and to incite hate among the people to the government.
Slandering is more dangerous than murder because it can cause society to lose love and to trigger hostility. The Word of Allah SWT in Surah Al Baqarah, verse 217 "And slander is greater than the sin of murder".
As a person who obeys the teachings of religion, we should not be easily deceived by the no. 1 slandering portal Malaysiakini and the calls to slander about the RM116 million diamond made by ‘parti bunga’. Continue to pray in the last nights of Ramadhan. Stay away from defamatory stories, speculations and perceptions.
